Not much change since last month. Adam Kaplan is still in there with his
amazing 657.60 MPs: #194 Barry Crane Top 500, #2 Youth, #5 Juniors, and #10
Mini-McKenney 1000-2500 category. He's getting really close to Gold Life
Master!

H oward Coley has been named the Daily Recap Player of the Year for 2009.
Playing seriously for just 5 years, since he retired, Howard has risen to the rank of Silver Life master, and is one of the most feared competitors in the area.
A quiet and gentle man, he loved his regular Monday and Friday games with the late Gary Martin and was truly saddened by his
death, but now really enjoys playing with different partners. He should enjoy competing in the Ace of Clubs and Mini-McKenney races since he regularly places near the top of the National and Florida races in his category. He also should enjoy The Daily Recap's annual MPs race, competing against everyone, and always near the top.

This hand is from the archives of Richard Chesley. You are red and the
opponents are white.
In fourth seat, you hold: ♠-AKQxx, ♥-AKxx, ♦-void, ♣-Qxxx.
Partner opens 2♥ (weak) and RHO overcalls 3♦.

Is this the world's smallest snowman? At less than 20% the thickness of a human hair, it's pretty small. Here's the original article.

Our friend and fellow bridge player, 97 year old Dorothy Bicket, has been moved to an
assisted living facility, which is probably going to be a permanent
situation. Cards could be sent to her:
Dorothy Bicket
c/o Almost Home
3010
Greynolds Ave.
Spring Hill, FL. 34608
Her family said she could
probably have visitors in a couple of weeks or so, as the facility wants her to
become adjusted to being there first. She is getting along great with a
walker.
