Janet Moses has died.
Sandie Romaine announced today that she died Tuesday. "Our good friend Janet Moses passed away Tuesday afternoon.
"A funeral will be held at 5:00PM Monday afternoon at the Seven Hills Brewer Funeral Home, 280 Mariner Blvd., Spring Hill, FL. Car pooling is encouraged, and many will leave from the SCC after the Monday game.
"A 'Celebration of Her Life' will be held at 6:00PM Monday Afternoon at Regency Oaks Club House. The family wishes to extend a personal invitation to each and every one of her bridge friends."

Mary Ann and I were making plans to go to Orlando for the tournament. We were only going for 3 days (2 nights) so we decided to splurge and stay at the tournament site. It was being held at the Buena Vista Resort and Spa. I looked it up on the Internet and booked a room with one bedroom, kitchen and living room with balcony.

The Daily-Recap operates on a shared server in Houston, TX. Apparently, some other user of that server had been sending out spam from a similar IP address, and Roadrunner began blocking e-mails from it.
This resulted in the failure of "Lost Password" e-mails from getting through to people at tampabay.rr.com.
I requested Roadrunner to cease blocking such e-mails, and they have done so without comment.

T he ACBL Masterpoints have been updated on The Daily Recap through December 31. Both the total masterpoints and the year-to-date figures have been updated. The YTD masterpoint list carried within the "YTD MPs" menu item is therefore updated as well, showing those users who have indicated Nature Coast Bridge Club as their favorite in their profile. NCBC holds several Swiss Team games each year. Some are on Sundays and consist of two sessions and lunch. Some are on the 5th daily game in a month and consist of a single session. Swiss Team games are also a favorite at all levels of Tournaments.
The next NCBC Swiss Team game is February 14, a Sunday. It's therefore an all day event, with two sessions and an included lunch. This particular game is also awarding Silver masterpoints. As you may know, Silver points are hard to come by.
Swiss Team games are a lot of fun. Be sure to join us and see! If you've never played in one before, what follows is a brief explanation of Swiss Team games.
