A rousing, standing, Happy Birthday was sung at the game today for Dorothy Bicket, still going strong at 97.

The parking lot lights at the Senior Citizens Club have not been working. Several inquiries of SCC management were fruitless. One person even denied they existed.

The Sectional was better attended than expected, with 13 more tables than last year. Some had feared that holding it on Easter weekend would hold down attendance. Last summer, when the decision was made to accept such a lousy date, it was hoped that the presense of many of our local snowbirds in April, compared to June, would offset the Easter date -- this appears to have happened.

After back surgery Thursday, Christine Striegl has returned home to recuperate.  Her address is 11781 W. Fisherman Lane, Homosassa, FL 34448.  Get those cards going!
