Beverly Tillberry will be giving a series of four lessons, "Review of Standard American Bidding" in July. Lessons will be held on Wednesdays from 11:00AM to 12 Noon. The fee is $30 for the month which covers all 4 Wednesdays and includes the fee for playing in the 299er games on those days. Pro Am Game June 29th
NCBC's next pro-am game will be held Tuesday, June 29th. This is a fun game which will give newplicates a chance to meet and get to know duplicates and vice versa. We encourage all players of every level to attend. It will be either a pair game or a swiss team game depending on the number and playing level of sign ups. You do not have to be a member of ACBL to attend.
Players’ names will be arranged according to masterpoint holdings. For a pair game the names of the players on the top half of the list will go into a drawing box. The players whose names are on the bottom half of the list will go into another box. Pairs will be formed by drawing a name from each box. For a Swiss team game, names are sorted according to Masterpoints, from lowest to highest. The lowest 25% go into a box marked S for South. The next 25% go into a box marked W for West. The next 25% go into a box marked E or East. The top 25% go into a box marked N for North. Teams will be formed by drawing a name from each of the 4 boxes. You must sign up in advance for this game. Sign up by reply email or on the sign up sheet at the club. See you on the 29th!

Zero Tolerance Policies
Adopted by the Board
November 16, 2009
The NCBC Board of Directors has adopted zero tolerance policies for every game director. These penalties were discussed by the board on November 16th and are effective immediately.
A player who disagrees with a director should ask for an appeal meeting immediately following the game and resume play.
