I'll bid 4C, even though partner won't evaluate his club holding properly, I still think with this much strength that even with my K-C not existing, I would splinter... Which means I can be comfortable splintering now. The other reason why I splinter is that any other call is so seriously flawed, that it's the only remaining option.

DON'T COUNT POINTS--THE KING OF CLUBS IS NO MORE THAN THE DUCE IF PARTNER DOES NOT HAVE THE ACE--I BID 3 HEARTS AND IF PARTNER HAS THE 6-7 HCP DOG YOU WILL BE HAPPY TO MAKE 3--IF HAS THE GOOD HAND THE NEXT THING YOU SHOULD HEAR IS 4 CLUBS AND YOU ARE OFF TO THE RACES--IF HE HAS THE MIDDLE HAND HE BIDS 4 AND YOU ARE THERE

I agree with Adam, immediately splintering is best. Partner would surely recognize 4C as splinter for hearts, but since inexperienced players like me don't use splinters much except for first time responses to major suit openings, Partner may wonder if I've lost my mind (again). :?

There would be no need to wonder.
