Summary of Responses to the Member Satisfaction Survey
In mid-April 2011 the Nature Coast Bridge Club (NCBC) Board circulated a survey requesting member feedback on their experience playing bridge here. Board members have reviewed all the submitted forms and spent considerable time discussing possible ways to improve operations based on those inputs. This is an overview summary of the eighty six responses turned in and some of the Board conclusions.

Here's another update on Karen. She will have surgery tomorrow at 6AM on her aortic valve and possibly on her metro valve. She will be in the hospital for about a week. She's going to have a rough time for a while.

Beverly announced today that Bill Hill had died. He hadn't played much for several years, since his wife became too ill to be alone. She preceded him in death. Beverly had no details. I remember him as a gentle giant of a man, similar to Whit Campbell in size and playing style. Fearless at the table, he would often make an outrageous bid. And make it. He has been missed, and will continue to be.

 I just received a phone call from Susan Russett with information that Karen has suffered a heart attact. She is currently in the Citrus Hospital but may be moved to Ocala, (at her request). Send cards to Karen Alpaugh, 3850 North Timucua Point, Crystal River, FL 34428.
