Henry Striegl sends a note that Christine Striegl has been admitted to Seven Rivers Hospital, 6201 N. Suncoast Blvd., Crystal River, FL 34428-6712, phone 352-795-6560. She's been diagnosed with blood clots in both of her legs. Prognosis: she will be there a while in Room 241. |

The Sectional was better attended than expected, with 13 more tables than last year. Some had feared that holding it on Easter weekend would hold down attendance. Last summer, when the decision was made to accept such a lousy date, it was hoped that the presense of many of our local snowbirds in April, compared to June, would offset the Easter date -- this appears to have happened. |

What a good looking group, assembled for the last game at Regency Oaks. Twenty teams participating in a Swiss, won handily by Lois Fortunato, Ed Wright, Mary Ann duFresne, and Annabelle Hills. After the game everything was bundled up and moved to the Senior Citizens Club, where all future games will be played.{easycomments}
