Donis Campbell of Clearwater, a frequent player at our club is not hospitalized after surgery. We were misinformed, and the surgery was as an outpatient.  She is Whit Campbell's mother, and a good friend of many of us.  Her address for cards is:

Welcome back everyone and welcome to our new members!  Good to see many of you back.  Still looking for others to arrive after the first. We have been having 8-8 1/2 tables on many of our Tuesdays and Wednesdays.  Good turn outs,  fun games, and great lessons continue to take place at NCBC. Come join us!!

Food is being served again.  So if you would like snacks during the afternoons, be sure to sign up at the sign-up desk. Speaking of signups, please note the following dates on your busy calendars for the next month or two. Sheets are out for some of them. Check the desk.

Come one and all for our annual Christmas party on Friday, December 9th.  The club provides sandwiches, beverages, music and door prizes.  You provide the pot luck feast.  Festivities start around 11:00.  Regular and 299er games start at 12:30 as usual and are free for everyone.

Spouses and significant others are always welcome to feast and play with us so mark your calendars for good cheer, good friends and good food.  See you there!

You probably know by now that we are sharing the new location with the landlord's catering business.  Sadly, we have already gotten reports of bridge players helping themselves to the landlord's utensils and china and accidentally breaking things.

 Please, please help us be good tenants.  Don't go behind the wrought iron fencing and don't use any of the catering supplies.  It's OK to rest belongings and snacks on the small tables near the entrance and on the bar to the right to the entrance but, if you do, please clean up after yourself.  Don't leave spillage and stains for the landlord to deal with.
