In the special election held today, Christie Bendickson was elected to fill the vacancy left by Calol Hargrave's resignation.  As is customary at the club, the vote totals were not announced.  The term of office is from now until the next General Election, held April 1st, 2011.

Christie had this to say, "Thanks to all of you for your vote of confidence in electing me to fill the temporary position on the Board of Directors.

"It is an honor to represent all of you. I will do my best to keep the interest of the WHOLE Club in my actions while serving the Board.  I  realize I cannot please everyone with everything I say or do,  but my intentions will be to represent the Bridge Club in the fairest manner to all."
