Our Spring semester is underway. Jim Somma and Gerry Panos are teaching Bridge Basics 2 — Competitive Bidding on Mondays from 9:30-11:30.  Mary Ann duFresne and Marion Ellingsen are teaching beginning bridge on Tuesdays  from 9:30-11:30.  We have 30+ students attending classes again, many from previous lessons and the Newcomers’ game.

On March 22, Jim Somma and I will begin teaching Bridge Basics 3 — Popular Con­ven­tions on Monday mornings.  The deadline for sign-up for this course, and the book order date, is March 15.  The cost is $72, including the textbook.  The course will run for 6 weeks, until April 26.

Jim and I will also offer a free 2-hour work­shop on the Negative Double the week after classes end.  All current semester bridge students are eligible to sign up.  The sign-up sheet will be on the bulletin board.  Any question, please ask Jim or Carol.
