Whit Campbell was discharged this evening after having a pacemaker implanted. He had been on a heart monitor, when his heart rate fell to 15 while he was sleeping, unbeknownst to him -- no symptoms. That day, his cardiologist called him in for a "short visit," but then refused to let him go home.

He has no restrictions on his activity, except not to lift his arm above his shoulder. He will be playing bridge at the Sarasota Regional this coming week.

This comes about 6 weeks after Sue Graham had her pacemaker implanted.
