Then I can go.

Our dear friend Roscoe Alexander died Tuesday, January 20, at the age of 95. Active in bridge until very recently, he was one of the toughest opponents you'd ever want to face. An African American, he was especially pleased to live to see President Obama elected. On his death bed, he insisted on watching the inauguration, and said, "Then I can go." He died at 12:23, just after the president completed his oath.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 3 at 10 am at Turner Funeral Center, Spring Hill Chapel, 14360 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill, FL 34609, phone 352 796-9661. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Hernando-Pasco, Inc., 12260 Cortez Blvd., Brooksville, FL 34613, phone 352 5967-1882.{easycomments}
