E. Mother went to hospital with a suspected tumor. Instead, he/she was born, mother’s 10th child
“My mother was 45 and had already given birth to nine children (two had died). She didn’t really need any more. She went to the hospital thinking she had a tumor; instead I was born! She was very ill so my brothers and sisters came up with $35, paid the bill and brought me home. I was a spoiled brat. Now when someone comments on my being short, it doesn’t bother me. I’m just lucky to be alive!”
