The work of countless volunteers, coordinated by Mary Ann DuFresne, combined to provide the best Sectional in Florida! The best facility, the best parkng, the best food, the best competition, and the best caddies.

Of particular note were the efforts of Carl McGiffin, who arranged for us to rent this great site, and who set up and tore down the tables and chairs, together with Rich Talbott. Food was arranged by Sue Graham, with immense contributions by Joan Waite, Claudia Hendry, Lois Fortunato, Howard and Terri Coley, Annabelle Hills, Karen Alpaugh and more. Many tables and bidding boxes were graciously loaned by the Spring Hill Duplicate Bridge Club.

Attendance was affected by gas prices, we presume, down a few percent from last year, although the final figures are not yet available. The Swiss Teams game on Saturday drew 31 teams, about on a par with previous years, but the attendance on Thursday and Friday was down perhaps 10 % from other years.
