I have just added a new feature in the "Red Section" called My Partners for logged in users only. It is your personal calendar, and is intended to use to keep track of your partners, like your paper calendar does.

But it has some unique features!

  • First, the "title" of the calendar is your partner for today, or if you have none today, it says "Nothing today."
  • Second, your partner for tomorrow, if any, appears under the calendar.
  • Third, if you add John Doe to your calendar, it will appear as expected, but also your name will appear on John Doe's calendar on that date.

To add a partner (or any reminder), click on any open date. To see what you have scheduled for some date, "hover" your mouse over that date. You will see the appointments for that date show up in a little window.

When you click on an open date, you will be taken to a window to enter your appointment. Just type partner's name or a reminder and press save.

When you click on an "occupied" date, you will be taken to a window where you can edit or delete that appointment. If you change the partner's name, it will disappear from the former partner's calendar and appear on the new partner's calendar.

There is also a "large" calendar available. You'll see it after you add or change an appointment. You can also go directly there by choosing the "My Partners" menu item in the User Menu. In the large calendar, the names of your partners and reminders are shown, since there's more room.

You must spell and capitalize your partner's name correctly for the software to add the appointment to partner's calendar.  But if you don't, or they're not a user, it will still show up on your own calendar.

You can also enter other reminders, such as "Dentist 9am," or whatever else you might want to remember.
